Hello, i am a turkish bath peştemal. I was produced in an ethnic and modern style on both sides. I was designed by my designer tansel baybara as a loincloth and beach towel with an astek desenli peştemal on the karatezgahda touch and an ottoman çintemani patterned writing fabric. I am producing with the social responsibility understanding of the designer and the design storyteller in different provinces of turkey, with housewives living, in order to create a sustainable economy and preserve cultural values. Ottoman lust pattern and astek pattern, double-sided loincloth, you can also say towel or multi-color loincloth. My weaving side was touched by women in denizli province of turkey with 100% cotton. The ottoman çintemani pattern was printed on the other side using silk screen technique in bursa, with 100% cotton writing fabric. So when you wash me, my colors don't fade and i don't color. My hand-woven loincloth and writing fabric, produced in two different places, were brought to their final form by being sewn together by women in our designer tansel baybara's design story workshop. I absorb water easily, can be easily washed in the machine at 30 degrees and dry quickly. I'm 90x180 cm, i'm 0.381 grams, i'm weighted in purple, white and mustard colors. I can stay alive in your life for a long time without my colors fading at all. I am part of the pestemal collection of the design storyteller's cultural products. You can use me in comfort at the beach, pool, bathhouse, waterside, spa, yoga. Maybe you also prefer to use me as a blanket in cold weather, a sofa shawl in your home, a table cover or a towel in the bathroom. I also carry the feature of cultural products that you can gift to your loved ones. As a cultural product, i always want to add value and color to life. Due to my environmental understanding, all my fabric pieces left over from production are used either as accessories for another product or as decorations for the design storyteller's packages at the design storyteller workshop.
