Nobel Akademik Yayıncılık Teaching Turkish in the World (Theory, Case, Practice, Problems and Solutions)

The teaching of the mother tongue and culture to the children of our compatriots who have migrated abroad for various reasons is not only an urgent need today, but also appears as a national issue in terms of national identity construction, creating a bond of belonging and establishing values. However, teaching turkish as a foreign language is also becoming an important issue every day.

With this book, an attempt has been made to reveal the current state of turkish language teaching activities being carried out in many parts of the world (germany, belgium, netherlands, switzerland, england, ireland, france, denmark, croatia, georgia, india, italy, romania, poland, bosnia-herzegovina, russia, iran, chinese people's republic).

First of all, the current status of turkish education teaching activities in relevant countries has been revealed, information has been provided about turkish teaching activities as a mother tongue, bilingualism, foreign language by reviewing the literature, and the strengths and weaknesses of turkish teaching as a second language/foreign language have been revealed and suggestions that could be valid for solving the problems have been presented.

With the study, it is intended to contribute to increasing the quality of turkish language and foreign language teaching activities by providing scientific data to relevant official institutions (ministry of national education, maarif foundation, yunus emre institute, overseas turks and relatives association presidency) operating in the field of teaching the mother tongue abroad.
